​Welcome to Pandora Languages!

​I have been teaching the beautiful language of Spanish for about 20 years, from pre-K to adults. I earned a Certificate Degree of Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from the University of Jaén, Spain, received my Spanish Teaching License from the state of Colorado, and have attended, and continue to attend various teaching courses as a continuing education pursuit.

​I have found that teaching the two sides of the age spectrum, children and adults, has offered a unique insight into the different ways we learn in various stages of life. This discovery process lead me to develop four principles for successful learning. These principles are the basis of my development of Pandora Languages, LLC.

• We learn best when we use as many of our senses as possible
• We need a sense of connection to engage and succeed
• The learning level has to be the right one
• The goal of the teacher is not only to teach but to inspire the students

Three sets of curricula have been created based on my own teaching experience as well as successful practices learned from many texts. While I originally developed the textbooks for my own teaching curriculum, their proven effectiveness for both teachers and students led to the creation of Pandora Languages, LLC. The materials are intended to be a guide to lead the students in their discovery of the Spanish language. The textbooks allow students to interact in their own classes and work towards a common goal. The teacher can choose the best book level for their group. The instructor is free and encouraged to look for other manipulatives and activities that will facilitate the learning of their particular group of students as well as to bring additional culture, fun and inspiration to their classroom.
